We invest for the future.
Polygon is setting up for the future like nobody else.
If you weren’t already aware, we’re very bullish on Polygon’s MATIC token here, and you can see my overview below.
But let’s lay it out even further.
Show me any Web3 project with this caliber of partnerships. Bear in mind this is only their top 10. They have lots more.
Apart from Ethereum, does any other L1 or L2 have even one partnership that can rival any of these ten?
If we’re trying to correlate this to a Web2 company, what would you equate it to?
Oracle? Cisco? ………..Microsoft??
Imagine getting in early into any of those companies.
Here are the rest of the major partnerships. New ones being added on every month.
Jesus.
If you’re a large brand looking to expand your Web3 presence, Polygon is going to be your top choice 9 times out of 10.
This is how dominant this Layer 2 chain is right now.
Not only that, native blockchain projects are either jumping ship over to Polygon, or reallocating some of their projects over that way.
Polygon just yoinked portions of two of Solana’s top projects as well. As I mentioned in my 10MC podcast, they have a habit of doing things like this. (They nabbed Luna’s largest project too)
A few takeaways from the above podcast.
- Polygon’s biz dev is off the charts. Underrated stat. How many chains even have a fully built-out biz dev department?
- Solana has the youngest user base out there. Makes sense. Would explain the higher volatility. Also an interesting note if you’re investing in the long-term future as well. Solana is on my deep-discount radar. Not my watchlist, my radar.
Yes, Polygon just did a round of layoffs, but as I am attempting to outline in a future blog post, this is not a bad thing at all.
Outlook
At the time of my 10 Minute Contrarian Podcast episode on Polygon, the price of the MATIC token was $.60
It currently sits at $1.32
This is never financial advice, but I want more, but only at a lower price. I would be averaging up too much at this point.
I will wait for the drop in prices that I forsee happening.
If it doesn’t happen, I at least have a solid bag of MATIC.
If you have no bags, buying right now would probably still make you historically correct in a big way however.
The one thing I wouldn’t want to be here, is left out.
